Sunny Sundays in February are just perfect for snowdrops. We made the most of the break in the weather by donning our wellies, packing the obligatory flask of hot chocolate (and a few leftover Bakewell Hearts) and setting off to explore the gardens, and ramble in the woods. All around, banks were engulfed by the dropping white heads of the snowdrop flowers, luminous in the sunshine. The light, rare and glorious, irradiated everything that it touched. We felt, all of a sudden, the promise of spring.
Beautiful photos – what a lovely Sunday.
Gosh the bokeh snowdrop image is lush! What a place. And those conkers! I’ll have to go xx
So gorgeous and soooo far away for us in Montreal! We are still totally snowed under!
