Incredibly, over 100k images have now been tagged to #littlestoriesofmylife,  over on Instagram. It’s a hashtag that I started for celebrating and/or sharing the tiniest elements of the stories of our lives. Small doesn’t equate to insignificant: these are the little moments that add up to the narratives that carry us all.

This July, the #littlestoriesofmylife gallery was sponsored by Mob Studio, a fair trade and handmade online shop for gorgeous home accessories handcrafted by talented artisans, as well as handmade eco-friendly and sustainable coconut candles. For the winning image tagged to #littlestoriesofmylife_mobstudio, Mob Studio are kindly providing one of their lovely fair-trade jute shoppers in a colour of the winner’s choice, as well as a handmade candle. There’s also a handmade candle each for three runners up.

The runners up, as chosen by Tam from Mob Studio, are:

justordinaryfolk

@justordinaryfolk: These two came downstairs in matching outfits. This is their serious faces before they erupted.

@joannefinelightness: Scorching here. Shutters shut. Sheet tent up. Thank you Stitch & Forage for the idea!

joyinsmallmoments@joyinsmallmoments: Vintage fishing creel and fabulous sunflowers from @payntersfruitmarket, what a happy combination!

and as the winner, Tam has chosen this shot by @HarryandFrank. ‘I just love everything about it!’, she said.

Congratulations to all those selected! Tam will contact you to ask for your address. A big thank you to Tam and Mob Studio for your support this month.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has tagged their images so far. The #littlestoriesofmylife gallery is a wonderful space to lose a few moments. Please do continue to share your small stories.
