#littlestoriesofmylife :: my March favourites

It’s the end of the seventh month of my #littlestoriesofmylife project over on Instagram, celebrating and/or sharing the tiniest elements of the stories of our lives. Small doesn’t equate to insignificant: these are the little moments that add up to the narratives that carry us all. In Instagram’s frames of beauty or of emotion, we are each the teller of our own story. I ask for people to share their stories by tagging with #littlestoriesofmylife any picture that captures a moment, or contains a narrative, however small it may be. I’m astounded that there have been over 34,000 posts to date! I am absolutely blown away by the stories that are shared via #littlestoriesofmylife every single day.

The hashtag is full of so many beautiful images, and so many wonderful small stories. It is always a privilege to share in every one. I have selected six favourites for the month and as ever I include with each image its caption, for therein the details of the story can be found.

@katielauraashton: A spot of floristry freelancing this weekend to support @wildfloralcouture through a wild weekend of wedding florals. It’s never as simple as rocking up with your pair of scissors, it entails pure dedication till the job is done! Even if it means scrambling around to get your car unstuck from the thick mud, wrapping up in blankets in said car whilst we wait till we can go get the ceremony flowers back to the venue, candelabras, vases, meters & meters of ribbon, from teeny tiny muscari to these big & beautiful Hanoi ranunculus, so damn pretty! @kamilleundkaffee

@kamilleundkafee: ‘Draußen Nebel, beschlagene Scheiben, Lieblingstasse, Herzen voll Sonne. Morgenfroh!!!’ (Outside fog , fogged windows , favorite cup , hearts full sun . Morning Glad !!! – translated (probably rather inaccurately) by Google)

@littlegreenshed: ‘He caught a tiny fish in his hands. That boy would spend hours pond dipping if he could. He was so delighted to find a large pond in the tropical glass house. Humid, full of plants dripping from the ceiling. He scooped up the water to reveal tiny Tetra. Iridescent in the light.’

@tirilhauanfotografi: ‘Me, by little e (and her lomo’instant) + little e by me (and my faithful 5d) 😉’

@worshipblues@worshipblues: ‘Spring gives the crispest shadows.’

@frurobinson: ‘Looking at the shadows behind the curtain, imagining exotic places, palm trees and hot summer weather.’

Thank you to everyone who has taken part so far. The #littlestoriesofmylife gallery remains a magical space to lose a few moments. The project is an ongoing one, so if you are on Instagram, please do continue to tag your images.
