cooking, reading, loving, dreaming :: March

marchloving

This month, I am …

cooking … a rhubarb and orange cake with the last of the new season rhubarb- I bake it every year and it’s fruity, sweet and frangipane-scented.

reading… the illustrated Tove Jansson biography, Work and Love, bought from this lovely bookshop. Fascinating background reading for this month’s Year in Books choice.

lovingthis gorgeous bag from The Future Kept – an elegant way to cart around my daily essentials (currently containing the usual toddler paraphanelia, one too many notebooks and a couple of stray seashells, amongst other things!)

dreaming… of taking a weaving class. Maryanne Moodie has been running some that look amazing. Shame they are on the other side of the world! Instead, I’ll be heading over to her Etsy shop to buy a copy of her Beginner’s Weaving Companion booklet.

What are you cooking, reading, loving and dreaming of this month?

The cake sounds delicious, I’m still waiting for my rhubarb to make an appearance at the moment though. No doubt the biography will be fascinating, it’s one I think I’d enjoy as well. I hope you have a lovely March Laura. CJ xx
