It’s almost here. So close, it’s as if we could touch it. Christmas has come round once again.
A whole year, a full circle. One year ago today, I hit publish on the very first post on this blog.
I feel as if I have come a long way since then. This blog, this space of mine, constant but evolving. Seeds of dreams, starting to take root. Thank you for journeying with me: I wonder what the next year will bring.
I photographed my Christmas tree for the final week of Nature in the Home. Of course, I couldn’t resist a bokeh shot. It was only afterwards that I realised that I have come full circle with my pictures, too.
This will be my last post before Christmas. It’s time to settle down beside the tree, in front of the fire. Family time.
I wish you the very happiest of Christmases, wherever you may be.
Merry Christmas lovely Laura! Wishing you and your family a lovely xmas.

wishing you a truly Happy Christmas, and a happy blog birthday to this wonderful blog, it is always a joy to visit x
how wonderful! lovely photos 🙂 Merry Christmas! x
As a newbie blogger myself, isn’t it amazing how quickly we learn things in blog land? 🙂 I still have a lot I want to learn regarding photography. Saw you had a post for white chocolate and cranberry cookies – I made a similar recipe for Thanksgiving and it was a good combination – the cranberries counter the sweetness of the white chocolate.
beautiful beautiful bokah! merry christmas to you! and happy one year blog anniversary!
Merry Christmas x
Beautiful bokeh! I can’t wait to learn how to capture them in photographs–I figure that it should be easy practising with the Christmas tree. Congratulations on a year of blogging and I hope you had a lovely Christmas!
