Fields were the landscape of my childhood: flat Suffolk fields with endless sweeping skies. Running through long grass, swishing along secret paths through golden corn, scrambling over stacked hay bales and loitering along hedgerows whilst the dog nosed out rabbit trails. These are the small adventures that I return to when I close my eyes.
It was like stepping into a perfect wintery dream. The deep green scent of eucalyptus floated amongst the flickering lights of a hundred candles. Evergreen garlands hung from the brick walls and twirled gently in front of the raindrop-glittered windows.
I’m really rather thrilled to have a couple of pieces in the new edition of 91 Magazine, which comes out today. 91 is chock full of loveliness: its elegant pages are bursting with homes, style, vintage, shopping and crafts.
