It is such a joy to see blossom starting to appear. There is blackthorn in the hedgerows, and in gardens cherry trees are starting to bloom. I have been out scrumping for blossom, picking a few twigs that overhang a wall and a couple more from trees that adorn a village green. I love the delicacy and sculptural simplicity that twigs of blossom bring to a mantelpiece – a breath of fresh air to a Winter-weary home.

The first of the blossom! How beautiful. I wish I lived in the Country.. I think I might get arrested knicking some from the park! x
Beautiful! Your blossomy twigs look perfect in that tall bottle. x
love your blossoms & adore that sweet vase/old milk bottle. love the composition of it all!
Beautiful! There’s been nothing but low grey cloud here for days so it’s very uplifting to see these. Thank you!
No blossom here yet, but it surely can’t be long now!
I have pussy willow, but the blackthorn isn’t out yet … the hedgerows here are thick with it here, you can’t miss it once it starts to flower.
Your blossom is so delicately pretty 🙂
Completely divine. Not a hint of blossom around these parts yet. Might hunt for some pussy willow for my Easter tree.
Stunning picture x
Nature has a way of putting together the most perfect colour combinations. Those creamy pink blossoms are beautiful. And they go perfectly in your bottle and against that wall colour. Just delightful! x
Gorgeous, spring really is here despite the weather, katie x

My absolute favourite! They look lovely in that bottle too x
That blossom is gorgeous. The contrast of pinks against the brown-grey of the branches is just beautiful, and I love the glass bottle you’ve used.
