London is rather a magical place to be in the run-up to Christmas. For my two small boys, a family trip to see the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum was the ultimate excitement. They are train-lovers, so traveling by tube is a treat in itself. Outside the museum, we watched the ice skaters gliding around, surrounded by twinkling trees. Inside the museum, my little palaeontologist-in-waiting could not have been more thrilled by the dinosaurs, particularly the gloriously fierce animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex. Catching the bus back past the Knightsbridge shops with their enticing festive displays, the boys snuggled up to us, resting their weary heads. Outside the bus shone the glittering Christmas lights and the winter moon.
It looks beautiful Laura – well done and good luck you.
Have a fabulous and most magical Christmas.

Lovely pics Laura. We had a family visit to the NHM this Christmas too, and the train journey into central London felt like a real adventure with my two little ones.
It is such a fantastic day out, isn’t it. I can clearly remember my visits from when I was a child. Thanks for reading. L x
