When it comes to Easter baking, I always turn to my well-thumbed and chocolate-smeared copy of Nigella Lawson’s Feast. This year, I made a batch of hot cross buns ready for breakfast, and for pudding later in the day, a Chocolate Easter Egg Nest Cake. An incredibly rich, flourless concoction, it is a cake that I make just once a year, but its decadent deliciousness is perfect for the Easter weekend.
That looks wonderful. Tomorrow will be a day of baking
Do you know I’ve never made Hot Cross Buns, and I have no idea why as I love them 🙂 Your cake looks YUMMERS!!

Just Pirouette and Carry On…
Yum!
This is the first year in ages I haven’t made Nigella’s easter cake. I must be getting old – we had pear and almond cake instead because I couldn’t face the chocolate overload!
